The Princess Gwenllian Centre

Kidwelly’s Community hwb

The Princess Gwenllian Centre is a community Hwb, Arts and Sports centre in the heart of Kidwelly, an historic town in Carmarthenshire, Wales. We are run by the Kidwelly Town Hall Community Trust, a charity who’s mission is to deliver inclusive, impactful services and volunteer opportunities that improve health and wellbeing.

The Princess Gwenllian Centre is a fully equipped modern accessible building that caters to a huge variety of needs including concerts, weddings, conferences and celebrations.

The centre has large 400 capacity main multi-use full sized sports hall, a 150 capacity function room and three other rooms that host regular community activities, including music and education classes, workshops, and social clubs.

Get active in our full-sized sports hall, join a fitness class in our bright studio, or explore art, learning, and wellness activities. Enjoy a quiet moment in the Carmarthenshire Library corner or catch up with friends over tea and homemade cake at our occasional café. Step outside into Gardd Gwen and Orchard; our peaceful outdoor space perfect for relaxing or getting involved in nature-based activities.

With family-friendly facilities, inclusive programs, and a calendar full of social and recreational events, the PGC is your space to connect, grow, and thrive. Come and join us – there’s always something happening, and always room for you!
